For the light, I used a single clamp light, with a piece of tissue paper, as a simple softbox. I positioned the light so it was as close to the bubble as possible, and directly above the field of view of my lens. The soap/water mixture was 1 part soap, to 10 parts water. For a base to blow the bubbles onto, and keep them the same relative size, I used a white porcelain plate.
The camera I used was my 8mpxl Canon 350d. The lens was my Sigma 105mm F2.8 macro. ISO was between 800-1600(max).
